OKI and Dockwise: A Winning Combination
The Dockwise Group of Companies consists of four global operating companies (Dockwise B.V., Dockise Yacht Transport, Offshore Kinematics and Ocean Dynamics) and operates the largest fleet of specialized vessels in the world: A fleet of 20 semi-submersible, heavy transport vessels of different concepts and designs. Dockwise strives to become the contractor of choice in the Heavy Marine transport, Transport & Installation, and Logistical Management industries.

Winning the Battle for Business in Brazil’s Booming Market
Brazil is one of four emerging “BRIC” countries, (along with Russia, India, and China), where business is booming. Deep water oil and gas fields, discovered in recent years, have propelled Brazil into the big league of oil-producing nations. During 2010, Brazil's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is likely to increase by 6-7%. There is no crisis in Brazil – rather, the days of “a sleeping giant” are over. Now, everyone wants to dive into this market. As a result, it's a battle for business in Brazil.

Offshore Technology Conference Creates Opportunities for Sustainable Success
As we work to ensure our continued sustainable economic growth, it’s imperative that we prepare and position ourselves for the next upswing in business, which we know is on the horizon. Part of this preparation includes our continued focus on our Heavy Marine Transport (HMT) business, as it continues to be a major source of our revenue, while also seeking opportunities for showcasing our company’s unique and differentiated expertise in Offshore Transport & Installation and Logistical Management. Therefore, our strong presence and participation at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), on May 3-6 in Houston, is essential to helping us achieve these goals.

Building Lasting Relationships in Southeast Asia
In August 2009, Dockwise opened a new regional office in Singapore with the objective to better serve our existing clients and to expand customer relationships through active business development. Since Dockwise’s decision to develop a presence in Singapore, many clients have found their way to the new office.

Steady Ahead
As we enter this new decade, I would like to take a look at where we have come from and where we are going. Year after year, Dockwise executes hundreds of projects. This was accelerated in 2009 with the finalization and the delivery of six T-Class vessels and the re-emergence of the new Mighty Servant 3. With these additions, our 20 vessel fleet provides a solid base to sail steadily into the future.
